Car free for a day
Every September 22, people from around the world get together in the streets,
intersections, and neighbourhood blocks to remind the world that we don't have
to accept our car-dominated society. 2009 should be no different. ~ extracted from World Car Free
As our small contribution to world car free day, this particular street was closed for traffic this morning . It was really nice and relaxing change crossing the streets without having a care for traffic. However, on the other street (behind me) the traffic was quite hectic!

Happy week ahead!
I meant to post these beginning of the weekend ; but I guess it doesn't really matter...
Yellow rose outside the theatre...the area was quiet and peaceful when I snaped this.

They are everywhere (nearly)...
The town has lots of cherry blossom trees scattered here and there. Now the blossoms are falling everywhere like the photo above. Guess where I found them?
Tada ! On top of canvas umbrella at the reading corner of the library! It was a beautiful scene :)
