kætʃ.kæ.meɪt Kecske means “goat” ; while mét refers to “district ” in Hungarian. Kecskemét – the capital of Bács-Kiskun County – fusing all the beauty and values of the Great Plain is situated in the middle of Hungary, approximately 85 kms from Budapest.

Looking over the square
In my archive I found this photo yet to be posted, perhaps due to lack of info. on this figure found at the top of the town halll building. I believe this is the highest point of the building; directly above the bells which ring through out the day.
