When I forgot my hand phone recently, I was so glad to see these. Granted I was doubtful I could make a call (1) I don't memorise phone numbers anymore (2) I don't carry my phone book in my bag...
Anyway, I tried it because I do remember my husband's number. However, I didn't get through because I didn't punch in some other codes ..gah

exactly! do your city even have them?
We have them here and there, but I rarely see them being used. All the same, it's probably a good thing that pay phones still exist, in case of emergency!

yes, and we should also remember to carry phone book with us!
